Thanks! So easy! I used the cardboard that comes out of fat quarters or charms packs...cut fabric to fit the rectangle then lay pieces on top of the fabric and stitch using zig zag...take the entire piece and "quilt" it to the cardboard...glue fabric or paper on back to cover the stitches...attach a yarn/ribbon/lace through a punched hole...DONE!

Lillianpearl - That is the coolest-looking spindle I've seen!

alwaysinmyroom -
Those bookmarks looks great!

I've been busy working on some swap projects, so no pictures to post right now. But I am using stash for them, so I'll be able to post something soon. Smiley

a coconut spindle...and newspaper yarn! Inconceivable... Wink

alwaysinmyroom...love the bookmark idea.  I needed to find a way to use up some cardboard in the bias tape/ric-rac pkgs! Not to mention the small moutain of scraps acumulating lately!

off to look for some fabric for swap items...then to knit!
happy crafting, everyone!
