Ooh Ooh Ooh! Cute! I like that, the ric rac makes it.

Ok, I finally got into the basement and does this happen to you too, it's been so long since I saw the stuff I have binned down there that I forget what in the heck I was ever going to do with it in the first place. Seriously, TONS of fabric, I mean tote after tote after tote. I can't believe what I have stashed. It would take me 2 lifetimes to get through it all and I could have sworn that I majorly destashed before we moved in here. I'm glad I can't remember what all I had before because even this much is embarrassing.
I've got 4 piles going:
-donations
-yard sale
-mending
-keep for crafting
and I'm toying with the idea of making up a box for givers and needers. And there might be a craft supply swap happening in town here soon too, very handy that Cheesy.
I sold another piece of furniture today on kijiji as well. I feel so great about that.

Maybe I'll be able to actually craft something by next week, I'm really hoping so.

Craftylittlemonkey - I'm dreading that same situation when I return to the stash I've stored in my parents' basement while I'm away at grad-school.  I won't be able to remember what I wanted to do with most of it.

I just finished up a hat (Coronet from Knitty).  There are cables on the brim, but between the kettle-dyed yarn and the flash, you really can't see them in the picture.

That's one and a half skeins out of stash, and a good spring-weight hat made that actually matches one of my scarves.  Now if I could figure out what to do with the half ball of leftover yarn...

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

I always forget to post pictures here. I purchased a bag of yarn [4 skeins] at the Goodwill for a $1, I didn't like this color brown and I didn't have any projects for it so I made this quick newborn prop blanket (for photos) 15"x20"

Not my favorite piece but it's a perfect prop. And definitely not bad for only costing .25 cents during a marathon of Bewitched episodes.

Ooh.  I need to do this.  I always hate to use my stuff, in case I need it for something later.   Roll Eyes  But then what's the point of having it, since it never gets used?! lol

I'm joining late, but still jotting down the earlier inspiration ideas for future reference.  And I finished the ultimate UFO at the end of January - a crocheted baby blanket I have been working on since I was 10.  (Yes, literally.  And I'm about to turn 31.  Is it totally ridiculous of me that I actually still had it and pulled it out to finish it just before my third child was born?!)  As soon as I find it again (not sure where it disappeared to since yesterday), I will take a picture.

Wow, that's an impressive UFO.  It gives me hope that I'll eventually finish the baby quilt I started 5 or 6 years ago.
