Finally finished all three of our hats for the St. Patrick's Day Dash. I didn't have enough of the kelly green, so mine was finished with the lime used for the stripes.

They're all supposed to be reversible, but the stripes do make it look a little weird. Oh, well.

Oh, and astormorray, your yarn is beautiful! If you ever want to swap some of your handspun yarn for something... just let me know.

Great charm bracelets...TSM!  Oh, I would love to spend one day and a chunk of change at a bead store nearby...I don't wear much jewelry...but it is nice to make personal items like that...you create some very pretty items!

astormorray...sweet yarns!  =]  I bow to your spinning abilities...and if I ever destash enough...I'm putting in a spinning/roving area!

bananaleg...sweet hats..great way for you and your friends to be a team...good luck w/the Dash!

And I LoVe the emerald and black card W/Argyle!!  Shocked  Papercrafters have such fun...I know I do when the bug hits, even if the items are nothing like Brackish Potato's...=]

Not much in the way of destashing...while out yesterday...the car died!  And one little girl is still waiting to try sewing!! =[
While I'm holed up I'm ripping apart two old ponchos given to me @ knit guild and making them into an afghan:

Very colorful and textural as well!  How do you join it all together?

There is no batting on the white that join the pages and I just stitched down the middle of it. I had to forcefully pull it through, but it worked.

I love the colours/design of the blocks for your afghan Kittymom and mellerific that scrap patchwork book quilt looks amazing.  I might have to add that to my things to try list.  I had considered sewing scraps together to make textured greeting cards, so your book has definately inspired me to give it a try.
I am still slowly destashing (very slowly) Ive got a long weekend off so I have a big list of tasks i want to achieve.  The headliners are finishing the bag for my brother (still hanging over me) I've done 4 letters so far (in the initial stage).  I might have hit a bit of a stumbling block though as Ive used up all my black embroidery thread (successful, but futile destash!) and I still need some to affix them to the bag (when I make it!), drafting and completing my second hoop for the embroidery hoopla swap and finishing a cushion cover which I started last year.  Its really simple I just have never got round to sewing it up.
I really hope I can get them done.

Meleriffic...love the fabric book.  Great idea for a little one and what a great way to use up scraps! =]
*Great Inspiration*
I've got a fiber journal in the works this year.  I've only got two 'pages' done and working on the Teesha Moore-like cover...an ongoing personal craft-along.
Today I'll be digging through stash to find fabric to re-cut for the bodice of 'the robe'...#@^$#@(curse words)
And cutting up fabric I just HAD to have @$1.50/yard... Roll Eyes
Then on to future quilt squares...=]
