I agree!

Thanks...I found some more little bits and just love the crochet pattern!  So fast and easy to do in front of the tv!

Everyone is doing so well with the destashing I'm feeling seriously behind!

One more thing to add to the list, something I've been meaning to do for a looong time - make a whole whack of Sculpey stuff to use up the clay I've got!

fluffypants; I'm with you, I have a whole drawer of Sculpey to try and make something with. I'm thinking I want to try some masks or something.

First, like the scrubbies!!

Now, does Sculpey go bad?  I have it in a tool box I snatched from the hubby in the garage.  Will it get too cold?  I tried to condition about 4 blocks and my hands ached for a week.  I put it in sandwich baggies and into the tool box, and haven't touched it since.  Now, I'm afraid to go look at it.  I know, I'm silly!!

 Embarrassed

Thanks--my crochet buddy is trying to give me her scraps!  No thanks!  I am not taking on anyone else's stash!  Not my problem!  Make your own dang scrubbies! Cheesy

I bought two blocks of what I thought was Sculpey---put it in two plastic ziplock bags...they are hard as rocks...is there another type of clay maybe?  I was using it to make molded faces...but I think it is ruined...I even dunked it in water for a day hoping it would soften--nope! Sad

I got a pair of mittens done for the munchkin.  Now she can go out and play in the snow!  I can't believe I didn't use up all my yarn though, this is the skein that never ends!!  I made a hat, 2 pairs of socks, and 2 pairs of mittens, and it still isn't all gone.  (to be fair, DD has small hands, feet, and head)  I'm kind of sick of it now . . . I think it will go to do craft projects with the little one instead of more knitting.

too cute!  mittens and wings--what could be more perfect!?

I understand about your yarn---you must make sure to store it away from other yarn...they multiply when grouped together, I know they do... Cheesy

Hi everyone! I've started a striped throw/small blanket, using random blue and green yarn leftovers and oddments. Perfect for TV knitting. Don't think it'll be done by the end of January though!!

Cute mittens photo! Smiley

sculpy has an airdry version too. My unopened pack is all dried up, it reminded me of a tootsie roll. I have been wondering if sculpy gets old too. A piece that was made from regular baked sculpy became brittle and broke in my hands.

I think I might head to the clay board and see if I can do some research...I would like to keep clay handy for weird projects, but not if it is going to dry up! Cheesy
