My goal for 2012 is to use up EVERYTHING I have left, ha ha. I keep picking up little this and thats but I'm vowing to stop, no more supplies unless I actually have a project in mind.

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

My goal for 2012 is to use up one bin of fabric... Smiley

My goal is to get down to one bin of fabric and one bin of yarn.

I don't have a lot of fabric-some of it really is fabric, and some is clothing. You know, 'these jeans have pretty embroidery, it'd make a neat jean purse!", or 'these silk shirts from Goodwill will be good for gibbous something or other!'. And I've been saving purples and fancy bits for a quilt for years. But I rarely sew! 2012 is the year I either use it up or give it away. Except for the bag o' pretty, because I'm not ready to give up on the quilt idea yet, and we all need something to aspire to, right?
I did get rid of two skirts I bought for the fabric forever ago. White, with floral embroidery, thought I'd make aprons. Instead I carefully painted inside the embroidery outline, (just like drawing in a coloring book, hee), heat set, then tea dyed it. And my daughter asked if she could have it!
And today I went through a box of costume jewelry a sis gave me and took three necklaces apart for the beads and findings. Yay free craft supplies!

I managed to keep new craft supplies at bay this season - with the exception of a jelly roll and a fat quarter pack.  I did get a new sewing machine {I've been using my Mom's for 3 years}.  Goal is to use up all the fabric that I currently have in the stash.  Also want to destash scrapbooking paper and other random supplies

Looking for 100% Cotton scraps.  Miss G wants to make a scrap quilt for as little $ as possible, so if you have something that she could use, please pm me.

If you are going to use paper patterns, you will need to make yourself some fabric weights!

YAY planning for destashing 2012!  I have been following/trying to participate in these threads for 2 years now and so far I have totally failed - buying more than I use.  Im liking the sound of 2012 though.  I no longer work in a haberdashery department, Ive been quite productive these last few weeks, Im moving again (a good incentive to lose the stash) so I could be in with a chance.  Looking forward to doing it all over again with you all.  Smiley

Awesome goals!  I'm still formulating exactly what mine will be.

The 2012 DeStash Along is up and running.  Go check it out and say hello if you get the chance. We can still post our 2011 projects here for a little while, if like me you haven't gotten around to photographing the last few projects.  But we should post our new stuff in the 2012 thread, just so things remain organized and manageable.

One and a half more crafting days in 2011!

You're quite welcome!  Perhaps I'll be more active here now that I'm out of school and under-employed.

Doing some last minute picture taking to finish out the year.  I keep finding things that I've made and forgotten about.
