very awesome Sheep blue!  I love the green cuff at the bottom of the one, and that they are 'mismatched' but not. Smiley

yeah I didn't really care how it looked too much since they'd just go under my pants, but I still like their "mismatchness" in any case LOL

I went to Michaels with my list but they had NOTHING there that was on it. So I ended up browsing and picking up a bunch of stuff that will help me do things on my 50 projects list instead. With the 25% off total order cupon and the gift card, I did not use any of my own money and the total was only a little over $22! I think the total without the cupon would have been near $60 too. Woot!

After I eat supper, I'm going to start on one of the projects on my list. I'm so excited. Cheesy

edit; I forgot to mention that in Michaels I saw one of those pompom makers except this one makes heart pompoms! Has anyone used it yet? I almost bought it but passed it up for now.

Those legwarmers are adorable Smiley

I forgot I wanted to make a new craft to sell at this year's medieval faire, am just about to finish the prototype and then will have 9 more to make if it comes out like I'm hoping.  These will be 99% from stash, the 1% is for some lanyard hooks I bought for .99.

A heart pom-pom maker?  I've never heard of it before!  I'm gonna google.  Be right back.

I love those legwarmers, sheepBlue. Man, I could have used something like them when I lived in Wisconsin! We lived on a corner lot, near enough to Lake Michigan to provide us with a few more inches of snow than what fell further inland. I think I spent most of my childhood outside shoveling the sidewalks. Cheesy My legs were always cold. Great idea, and a perfect use of scraps.

Thanks for that link! I may have to make a herd of little sheep. They are too cute to resist.

For destashing news, I just completed my first project for 2011! The fabric and ribbon came from stash but I just bought the cork and the wood for backing today.

Okay, I give... I'm in.  Grin
Didn't do much last year, but I need to now. I've already started. I'm making a blanket for my baby ferret out of two skeins of red heart yarn (I've moved up to caron simply soft, but she wont mind!) Hope to get it done within a few days, it's knit.
