hahah thanks! I'm not gonna lie, I've never used a spindle before so I have no idea if it works right. But I was surprised [ahem, VERY surprised] that it works so well. It's definitely inspired me to try out some more projects. And spray paint it so it's not so ugly.  Roll Eyes

I'm not sure what I'm going to make with the newspaper yarn. I was reading about it for weeks before I finally decided to make it. Supposedly its surprisingly strong. But I'm not sure, anyone made it before? I'd love to see some projects.

Thanks! So easy! I used the cardboard that comes out of fat quarters or charms packs...cut fabric to fit the rectangle then lay pieces on top of the fabric and stitch using zig zag...take the entire piece and "quilt" it to the cardboard...glue fabric or paper on back to cover the stitches...attach a yarn/ribbon/lace through a punched hole...DONE!
