I fell in love! and it was mutual...well I think it was which can be kind of hard to tell with a yarn...
That's right fell in love with a yarn, I'm sure its happened once or twice or a couple of thousands of time with you yarnies out there. But my yarn was deserving of SO much more than my cheater loom knitting. So I taught myself (well retaught) how to crochet, nothing special just a basic single crochet...but the yarn makes the piece!

My love is 60% merino wool, 20% alpaca, and 20% silk by Mirasol and it is handspun in peru...ohhh sooo soft!!

The scarflet was made for a friend's birthday, but I still have about half a skein for me to play with. Not too much but I can still pet it everyday!

thanks for looking!
I appreciate any feedback as I'm very new to this board

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

It looks sooooo soft and strokeable. The large buttons are just perfect for it too. Smiley

Where did you find the yarn at?

What I Do: Crochet, sculpt, sew (not very well), beading, paint, draw cute things. ^_^

What I Can't Do: Knit (tried it, I threw the needles >.>), anything to do with glass, glass making, handling glass, etc.

The yarn came from pacific fabrics and crafts in puyallup, wa. Lucky for me they had two of the same dye lot on clearance!! Haven't figured out what I'm gonna do with the remainder (which is like 30 or so yards) but it's sooooo soft!
