i made this a while ago, but just never got around to posting it



this is a hand sewn tanktop using some superman fabric i have. it has a cross over area at the chest and a black strip right below it. the back is also black.

I want to learn to make clothing so badly, but me and the sewing machine are bitter enemies. I'm super impressed you sewed this by hand! It looks amazing, and gives me some inspiration to have a go at clothes!  Smiley

you definately should give it a try. its not hard to do by hand if you dont want to use a machine, it just takes longer to finish everything. i have ALOT of free time so it doesnt take me too long to make things. usually a day or two but its well worth it. i plan on getting a machine, and learning with that though so i can do things quicker but this was definately a good way for me to start i think. ive only been sewing for maybe a year and ive learned alot about making patterns and everything else that goes with it. ive made quite a bit more than ive put up here..it'll get up here someday though lol.
