Wow, your son is so lucky! Amazing blanket, great patience - it just looks like they designed the Tardis just so it would look great on this blanket Grin

As the 9th Doctor would say: Fantastic!

That blanket looks fantastic. How did you maintain sanity while doing such a monotonous stitch? I'd better not let my hubby see this project or he will want me to make him one! I peeked in your Etsy Shop and saw that you are selling the pattern for it there. That's very dangerous information that is. Smiley

I, amazingly, did not go crazy while repeatedly sc for months... I did, however, doze off frequently towards the end.  it's just so warm and snugly.

When I'm doing a really simple pattern I get a bit mesmerized and start dozing off too.

Wow! I am in awe!  I can see why the breaks were needed to keep your sanity!

could I please, please, please get your directions for this blanket?Huh?  We too are sci fi addicts and are soon expecting our 1st grandson.  Would love to make this (though will make it crib size) for the new little one.  My son in law would be completely surprised and very happy with it.  Thanks

I'm selling the graph in my etsy.
the graph is 1:1 so you would really have to do some modifications to make it crib size.   maybe cut down by half or maybe use f hook and sport weight yarn instead of H hook and worsted weight...
