Some of you probably remember that for my daughter's 13th birthday earlier this year I made her a little demon baby doll, seen in my Craftster post here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=359956.0 Well she absolutely loved it and of course asked for another custom baby for Christmas. I use regular acrylic paints for his body, a transparent red for the blood which I occasionally add a drop of black to, and Sculpey for the extra bits like his scabs, teeth, and ribs. I like to use Weld-Bond to secure the Sculpey, and I seal the baby's paint job with a watered down mix of Mod Podge Hard Coat; which becomes a progressively higher ratio of glue to water as I go. Usually I do at least 5 coats by the time I'm through with it. On to some pics:

Wearing the little Santa hat I made him <3

Before pic . . at least before *too* much mutilation had occured. I always seem to forget to take a proper before pic  Roll Eyes

Finished baby. You can find more "in progress" shots on my blog. http://ninjarobotthoughts.blogspot.com/2011/01/first-post-of-new-year.html

Thanks for looking! Hope all of your crafty endeavours for Christmas went over as well as this guy did Smiley

Currently interested in doing a personal swap, I'm thinking retro-look/rockabilly clothing. Let me know if you'd be interested. ^_^

Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

Definitely try it out lisa5691 ! It's pretty much one of the most fun crafts I've ever made. . . and probably easier than you think. His little eye moves in his head, you can wiggle it over so he's looking head on if you like.
