I think this scarf is FABULOUS! Especially for a 7 year old. I wish I had seen this before giving a lace patterned scarf to my 5 year old niece for Christmas. I am so going to copy this!!

What a fun scarf! Another reason to want to learn to crochet... I may have to add this to my to-do list for next holiday season!

This is too cute.  I am starting to learn crochet and would love a tutorial for this scarf.  You could make the links a little smaller and them into a belt.  I think that would be really cool.

Thanks for sharing!

That is adorable! I'm 20 and I would love to have gotten one for Christmas. Lol.

What stitch did you use? How did you fasten the ends together?

What I Do: Crochet, sculpt, sew (not very well), beading, paint, draw cute things. ^_^

What I Can't Do: Knit (tried it, I threw the needles >.>), anything to do with glass, glass making, handling glass, etc.

I love this, it's so cute... you could still do this instead of the original paper chain for holiday decorations too, how cute would this look on a tree or your mantle? It's like a new twist on homemade.  I might want to do this for my tree next year!  Guess I should start now, huh? Smiley

That is so cute!  Did your niece like it?  I'm nearly 30 and I would love one of those scarves.  Thank you for sharing!

I was thinking the same thing!  It's also a great way to use up leftover yarn.

I love it!  It looks like a great way to use up all my odds and ends scraps of acrylic yarn from other projects.

This would make a great teacher present at the end of year too! I was thinking of going with Amigurumi Apple pencil holders, but this is way cooler!
