In the last round of the Handspun and Handcrafts Swap, I was partnered with the fabulous ariaya  and she spun some absolutely gorgeous yarn.  It was 200 yards of Merino-Silk in blues and purples (mostly) and I adored it.  Needless to say it was a tough job to figure out what I wanted to make with it.

Well, with Christmas upcoming, I decided to do a scarf for my mom using a pattern on ravelry and it turned out sooooo lovely!

As it's the first time I have finished a knitting project in ages, I am so psyched.

ariaya - hee!  I'm so glad I could find something to show off the gorgeous colors and yarn.  I'm half-tempted to keep it for myself.  Thank you again for making it for me!
