I tend to get really obsessed with making certain things and stocking up on those supplies... For a while i was really into making zippered flannel pouches, so i have TONS of flannels and zippers... Right now it's knitting, but before that... it was felt things. Felt monsters... felt purses... felt pins... felt mutaches... felt coffee cozies...
Let's just focus on the cozies, shall we?

I started with just felt and thread.
First... the banana. (My name is bananaleg, after all.)

Cupcake:

Mustache <3

Monster eyes:

Squiggles (i have A LOT of felt scraps!):

And then i started using embroidery floss. Mayhaps a teensy bit more expensive, but i looove the way it looks!
Ice cream cone.

A little palm tree on an island beach:

Hibiscus:

A tree and a sun (this is how my niece draws her suns... and i love them):

Cupcake 2.0:

And the mock Sbux... which could totally be customized with a drink order:

And possibly my favorite... the swirls!:

The newest is a secret santa gift. She loves snowflakes.

This one isn't made of felt... instead of acrylic yarn. Gryffindor colors as a Christmas gift for a friend. Smiley

I apologize if you think showing the back of all of them is too much... i find that i like to see things from all sides.
At least they're only thumbnails Smiley

Oh, thank you!

No, i don't have a pattern, i totally winged it.
I will tell you what i remember, or think i remember. Wink

I used Loops & Threads Charisma, first of all, using size 8 double-pointed needles.
I believe i cast on 28 stitches, in the yellow.
K1P1 ribbing for 4 or 5 rows.
Stockinette stitch for 4 or 5 rows.
Switched to red.
Stockinette for 4 or 5 rows.
K1P1 for 4 or 5 rows.
Bind off.

I made it as a gift for a friend. I had totally forgotten to check the size before leaving the house. Luckily i grabbed some Starbucks for her before meeting and slipped the cozy on. It fit perfectly.

Did you use a single layer or double layer of felt?  I am planning on making some and was just curious.  Thanks
