I'm completely broke so this year I've resorted to crafting all my presents. I made this yesterday for my boyfriend - still have to decide what colour background to put it on. I'm wavering between this blue and a burnt orange.

It was my first time doing any sort of paper cutting and I had not anticipated the patience you need to get this done! It took (what felt like) forever! Also since I didn't really plan it out that much in advance, it looks a bit crowded at the top, but anyway.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys! I might keep it on the blue since it looks sort of wintery with the snowflakes and all... I was a bit nervous about my first post on Craftster, but now I'm beaming!

All I can say is "wow."  This is spectacular.  Smiley  Everytime I look at it, I see more details.   I'm so jealous of your patience.  Did you sketch it out with a pencil or something first?

I wrote out the words I wanted in pencil, and then just made up the rest as I went along - I actually started at the top, then moved to the very bottom, and finished in the middle! I'm not very organised!

All the little details were made up as I went along, because I can never plan out what I'm doing before I start. I'm incapable of it!

Phew, I can't imagine the cramp you had in your hand after you were done cutting those intricate parts out.  My husband does vinyl stickers and he has to remove some of the extra vinyl and it seems tedious, I can just imagine your patients level. lol. For your first time you did an Awesome job.
