I had a Hanukkah Party a few weeks ago.  I wanted to decorate sorta holiday neutral, so I went with a Winter Theme

It was hard to get good pictures of this

Above the windows are branches from my mom's yard that I spray painted silver.  There are glitter snowflakes hung on dental floss in the windows and sparkly snow at the bottom.  It looks way cooler from inside than from outside.

The lights in the left corner fell down, but I injured myself putting them up, so I didn't fix them. Damn being 5'2".

I also took down some of my curtains...well they fell down...but I'm not hating how it looks without them. Though I do like having a cave like darkness in my living room for movies and naps. Maybe I'll put up solid color curtains in their stead.

Also, I finished repainting a faux fireplace I found in my friend's attic.  It was an awful yellow before...I don't know that I have a before picture.  The inside was a dark red.  I wanted to spray paint the inside gold, but I only had a small can.  So now it's splotchy, but with the lights in there it actually looks pretty nice.  I love it!  Both that and the corner piece still need touch ups, but overall, I like the look.  I can't wait until I have money to have the walls painted so the whole look comes together!  I already have colors picked out for this room.

I made my mom wrap her presents early and bring them over so I could put them all out ;x
