Every year, I try to think of a clever way to display the Christmas cards that my loved ones send me. And every year, I draw a BLANK!

How do YOU display YOUR'S???

Discuss.  Kiss

We put ours on the kitchen door, but next year I want to try putting them up on the wall in a Christmas tree shape - I saw it in a magazine and it looks so good.

This is the first year we actually got cards from friends and family in the mail, and it is bcs we have moved out of state.  But I taped mine to my kitchen cabinet doors.  We only got about 5 or so but I think it looks cute!

When I was a kid, my mom used to take a canister of oats and remove the bottom. She would then take yarn and feed it around the now hollow canister covering the entire thing with what I can best discribe as harp-like (or guitar-like) strings that she just slipped the greeting cards though and we used it as a centerpiece during the holidays.

I found an example of something similar. http://www.craftbits.com/project_images/0001/4578/cardholder.jpg?1291117364

Oh - that is a funny idea! I just have a bowl standing on a side-table, for guests to read.

I like the oatmeal tube idea!  We just draped twine from one side of the window to the center then to the other side and clip the cards to it with small clothespins.  I decorated the clothespins (of course).

I found a photo.  The obligatory family-group-shot-on-the-sofa has been cropped from the bottom of the original Wink

I actually went searching and found a video about this very topic a little while ago:

Basically, you can display them with a ribbon and a bow...
