I made two of these scarves, they were very easy and took only about a week each to make.
You can choose any colour yarn to use when you're crocheting these, but make sure it's thick yarn if you want a warm scarf.
You will need:
around 150g of any colour yarn
a size 6 hook
In this pattern you crochet lengthways, stopping at the desired width.
Foundation Chain: Ch 201.
Row 1: yo, draw yarn through second ch from hook, draw yarn through 2 loops, draw yarn through 2 remaining loops. *yo, draw yarn through first ch from hook, draw yarn through 2 loops, draw yarn through 2 remaining loops. (Repeat from * until the end of the row, ch 2, turn.
Repeat row 1 until the desired width, fasten off.
1.Cut desired lengths of yarn, double the amount of rows crocheted.
2.Take two of the pieces of yarn you have cut, fold them in half.
3.With help from the hook, guide the fold of the pieces of yarn through an end of a row on the side of your scarf. Don't pull the yarn through the chain completely.
4.Pull the yarn through the fold, like a loop.
5.Repeat until you have a suitable fringe.
And there you have it! An extremely easy scarf to keep you warm when you like.
