So hubby and I are getting ready to move in the next few months and we have to somehow fit the contents of a LARGE 3 bedroom house into a small, itty bitty, 1 bedroom house ( think cottage ). We know this can't be done so we're starting to slowing weed thru things here and start downsizing so we're not overwhelmed at the last minute.

Tuesday we decided to tackle our closets....we found a few pair of brand new jeans in DH's closet that didn't fit him and we were going to toss out. Then I had a light bulb moment and said NOOOOOOOOOO ! I can't make something with those ! He just looked at me like I had 8 heads and said whatever Smiley

So I cut and sewed and added some awesome rhinestone bling and ended up with this apron Smiley Nothing fancy but I sure think it's cute !

Thank you!  I have a bunch of husband pants that he wants to toss due to being worn out in the knees or other weird holes or bleach stains.  Apron time for me!

Here is an apron to inspire you.  I made it for a friend in a swap...so much you can do with denim!  Keep up the good work!  Can't wait to see all you do!

I used a leg to make the long pocket in front...she wanted lots of pockets for gardening or crafting! Cheesy

Yessss!  I love it.  I'm currently trying to make an apron out of old bib overalls.  Yours turned out VERY cute - hope you get lots of good use out of it, and good luck with the move!

Okay thats awesome! Now I know what to do with all the pairs we have that were still mostly good. I saved more pairs that were needed for a pocket quilt lol.
