Finally finished just in time for my mums December birthday - this is the 4th time I have made this cardigan, the pattern is amazing, top down with no seams.  I made this one using  silky grey bamboo tape which has given the cardigan a nice heavy, drapey feel.  Because the pattern consists of a lacy chevron stitch it makes up very quickly using surprisingly little yarn. It's tricky to find wearable crochet clothing, but this pattern is a must to make.

Lovely cardigan ! I too find crochet clothing quite tricky. But this one looks perfect : feminine but not old fashioned. I hope your mum will enjoy it.

I've never attempted to crochet a garment for fear of the bulk and lack of drape. This doesn't have those issues at all. It's lovely. Well done.
