I live in Cincinnat. Used to love to do ceramics. But all the shops I used to buy ceramics from have all closed up. Where do you guys get you supplies?

Hey Crafty,

I tend to buy supplies from a local seller of mine, I'd recommend having a look on the internet you may be able to get a pallet of clay delivered to you.

Have you tried Ceramic Touch? They are in Blachester...a bit of a drive, but at least you wouldn't have to pay shipping. http://www.yourceramictouch.com/firstpge.htm

Highwater clays in Asheville, NC. http://www.highwaterclays.com/
Good excuse to go get lost for a weekend in the NC mountains.

All depends on how far you're willing to drive and what you want really. I would suggest you start by looking for a local school or college that has a ceramics course and ask the instructor where they shop (and maybe if you could get in on their order to save on shipping).

Our new pottery teacher is going to Highwater next weekend.  We're ordering a bunch of stuff, no shipping.  Yippee!
