Here is my 2010 Christmas craft that I make for all of family. My mom and sisters have been making ornaments for years. Though I am a man I had to show them up yet again this year. I have made a different ornament every year since 2003. I should put in a disclaimer here, my mother actually got me started in arts and crafts when i was just a kid. See she was my den mother. Oh yeah I also went to a 2 yr. Art School. As you can see I rule the ornament exchange. I may post pics from the previous years too. Let me know what ya think. The pics are in my members gallery. I am craftylefty

These are SO cute!  Thank you for sharing!

I love that your family does an ornament exchange, too.

Wow, they are so adorable!
And so well made.
(And you gave me a great idea of what to do with those glass ice cubes that have been living in my stock for many years already...)

They are so adorable!!! My family makes a different ornament every year too, but we all make the same kind together and give to friends with gifts. I love the idea of an exchange, we may just have to start that tradition:)

Thanks, they are made out of 11/4" doll heads and 1 1/2" door knobs. I drill a hole in top of the door knob (doll head already has a hole in it) run a dowel rod 1/2" in length, glue together. The wings and beak are cut out of construction paper or colored poster board. The skates are mini paper clips I just cut to the desired length and super glued to foam feet. I took a full paper clip and made a slight indentation in foam to make it so much easier to align the skates perfectly. I also drilled a hole in a 1x2 ran a screw thru it into the bottom of the door knob to make it easier to work on. I just screwed the lil guy onto the board and either set board on kitchen table or on my lap while watching either Football.....or White Christmas
