Children’s Fleece Kitty Ear Hats

The hats are Christmas presents for two of my littlest cousins (2 + 3 year olds) who I am meeting for the first time this Christmas so I needed a cute present that would also be something they would be able to use. And seeing as how it’s been about 0 degrees outside who doesn’t need a fleece hat this time of year.

The pattern is improvised based on examples I’ve seen on the web and as for head size I was luckily able to get some average measurements based on their ages thanks to Google so hopefully they fit. The outside is a lovely patterned cotton and the inside lining is fleece.

Thanks for looking and now I really hope they fit and that the girls love them!

Very cute!  Looks like you did a great job.  The only thing I would have done differently would be to face the fleece portion of the ears forward. Cheesy

ooh so cute! I had to scroll back up just to see if you mentioned a pattern, but alas, you are just to brilliant for that.  Well done, and I'm certain they will love them!

I would wear these and my 4 yr old son would request a boy version!

If you can't do it with duck tape...it can't be done!

Just couldn't live without winning them over right off, could you? :-)

Nice job! And they're sure to be warm... I should've used fleece instead of flannel for the scoodie I made...

Super cute!
Personally, I'd like to wear and make one for myself. Smiley
