These are really cute. They remind me of cupcakes from a while ago. I think I'll need to make some friends who knit so I can make them some.

They are amazing, and don't look terribly hard to do---thank you for the wonderful tute---I may have to give it a try---like right now!
(darn.  I don't have a clay extruder Sad  does my old PlayDoh one count? lol)

I love them!  Thanks for the tutorial. Another fun idea is to add a little ball of yarn. Or make this out of Fondant and add it to a cake. Grin

unfortunately knitting isn't one of my talents Embarrassed i can never get the stitching even which i find very frustrating Sad so i'l have to stick to this PC cheat Grin
you could always roll out thin snakes of clay though an extruder gun will make the strands more even.

i would love to have seen those cupcakes. a knitted cake sounds awesome!
