Procion started out as a brand name, I think, but now it is like saying "Kleenex" for a tissue.  Several different companies make procion dye, so you can get a variety of "brands" of procion dye.  It is pretty much the gold standard of tie dye.

The most precious thing one can make is a friend.

Now that I have figured out how to tie-dye with RIT, I am going to have to try a rainbow! I am quickly running out of white clothes though. Might have to hit up some sales and see what I can come up with! Smiley

HippieKender thrift stores for old white cotton sheets, the older ones are often really good quality!
