I sent mine to Kiki eks last Thursday, from the UK, so hopefully you should get it by Friday, it normally takes about 5/7 working days.  I really hope she likes it, I've got lots of jitters now that it won't be up to scratch as I've not been sewing for that long!

This is the bag I sent to Msrockchick. I know she's been busy and hasn't had time to post pics but I did take one before sending so here it is. I knew her interests from crafting for her in another swap recently, and when I went down to check my fabric stash, this all came together. She said she liked cherries, but I went with apples because I had an apple print, but also because she said she was interested in education, and her name is Eva, so it's like...Eve...get it?  The inside is lined with flames, which are spilling over the top, symbolic, huh? The  applique apple on the front is velvet, and the top of it is open so it's a pocket. It's also lined with the flames material.  The straps are made out of a red silk tie. All in all, that makes 9 ties I've sent to Msrockchic. I also threw in a wallet I made a while back from the same velvet and a similar flames pattern, since it matched and I wasn't using it anymore.

I just got a wonderful fishy tote!  It is bright and wonderful, I shall post pictures when my camera returns to life!  (I am concerned that I got it from someone different than who I sent one too...  it didn't have a name in the return address, but it was different!)  So, thank you whomever sent it!  I love it!

Sorry I haven't posted a thank you till now, but last week I got a fantastic mini-skirt-with-a-belt-strap bag from Eva (msrockchick). I've been on the go and it's been in constant use since the moment I tore it ouf of the package. I ABOSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! It's even got hand-embroidered lizards on it that match my tattoos! I will post pictures soon! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Hey, Everyone! 

I'm sorry I haven't kept up with progress reports, etc., but my DH started his doctoral program and ALL of his classes are online, so he's been hogging the computer.  Anyway ... according to my info my partner received her tote on Wed, so I'm posting pics of what I sent. 

This was my first swap, and I hope it wasn't too big a disappointment to my partner.  I love things that are reversible, and I think one of the straps got twisted before I turned it right side out.  I was going to go back and fix it, but I was worried about making the mail out date and I forgot.  Sorry, Lorna!  Anyway, here it is ...
