Here are things I've worked on since December 4th or so:

Olay Regenerist ads necklace--I wore this to my husband's work holiday party.

This one's made with Discover card ads and a page from the Think Geek catalog

Made from wrapping paper (I kept this one for myself; it still needs some tweaking)

Made from a poster for a work event

This one's from a fairy sculpture ad Smiley

All Travelocity ads! The round beads were made from 1/4 inch strips.

Stuff I made for my husband's coworkers

My favorite totally awesome huge bracelet, made from a poster a friend gave me (she got this bracelet in return!)

Love, love, love your jewelery!  I had a tutorial for making paper beads, and I can see I have to look it up and try these after Christmas (you know that let down feeling time!)  Or, you could share your secrets for making such fabulous  beads (hint, hint!) LOL!!!

I got some of my basic how-to info from here: http://www.paperbeadcrafts.com/howto/papers.shtml and then have just been experimenting with different widths at the base of the triangle, different papers, etc.  I use the metal pin from a pin flag (I work at an archaeology center, so we have lots of these lying around, just have to get rid of the dirt and rust Wink ) to roll with.  Hope that's helpful!
