I'm going to clarify that a step further - when mailing to a swap partner within the same country, a Delivery Confirmation number is required.  So Canada to Canada, Australia to Australia, etc, DC# required, but if you ship OUTSIDE your country, then you simply need to keep your receipt

Details of swap:
Make a purse or bag according to your partner's likes/preferences, and fill 'er up with at least 5 items (fun stuff like wallet, checkbook cover, key fob, ipod case, to do lists, etc, etc, etc).   Minimum of 2 of the items must be handmade, but the other 3+ can be purchased...

Bags can be sewn, knitted, crocheted, felted - whatever!!  Questionnaire would include the kinds of bags you'd want to make as well as the kinds you would like to receive.

PARTNER TIME!!

OK, the wonderful co-organizer and I have split everyone into 2 groups.  I've tried really hard to match everyone up based on interests AND skills AND allergies, that's a big job!!  I hope you have a ton of fun in this swap.

So here's what we ask.  PLEASE:

• I strongly encourage you to communicate with your partner to ensure a successful swap!!  The more your partner knows about you, the better she'll be able to craft what you like and need!!
• take a picture of your parcel BEFORE you send - this will protect you in the event that the parcel goes missing AND it will allow us all to see your hard work if your partner is unable to take pictures!
• send a PM to your group leader (either whats_her_name or green r my tear$) when you send and when you receive
• post pictures of your RECEIVED goodies in the gallery
• if you cannot take pictures of your received goodies, please ask your partner to do so -- please communicate with your partner before posting pics of your work - we don't want to spoil anyone's surprise!!
• if you have any questions at any time, contact your group leader!!

Our wonderful co-organizer, green r my tear$, spent the evening going through the old swap galleries to compile a list of all the bag filler ideas that people used in the past - might help you come up with the perfect items for your partner!!  The items are:
