Well, my first attempt this morning is going to be making him a banana smoothy with corn syrup in it.  The corn syrup actually masks the flavour.   But if that doesn't work, I'll definitely be shooting it into the back of his cheek/mouth.

Last night he was still sick, and had 2 baths and 2 bedding changes, but sometime after I laid him down the 2nd time, he came to my room to sleep with us.  I have no idea what time that was at, but he passed right out after that and had a pretty good sleep - thank goodness!!  So it was better than the night before, anyway!!

Yahoo!!  The smoothie worked!!  Made it with yogurt, corn syrup (needed 2 tbsp to mask the taste of 5 mL of meds), vanilla ice cream, 1 banana and blueberries.  All he has said is "mmmmm, yummy!"

What a relief!!  And this med is a 5 day dosage, with a double dose on day 1, so hopefully that means that we won't have any throwing up tonight -- FINGERS CROSSED!!  So far today there hasn't been any at all - YAY!!!!

I'm all finished! I tried making one last extra extra, but it wasn't working. That's
when I decided I was finished. I just need to take pics and pack it all up.
In all honesty; I'm a little concerned that my partner plans to shop, craft and finish all at the last minute.  Things often end up taking more time than you think, like different parts of this bag did.

I have been so intimidated by this whole process that I saved my bag for last.  It is 90% done and I'm thrilled with how it has come out, given that I drafted the pattern on my own for the first time ever.  I have to put the hardware on and finish the top, but I'm hoping my partner will like it as much as I do.  And holy pockets, Batman.  We have 8!

I hear ya, but I've often made things under pressure and they've turned out wonderfully.  My Amy Butler Cosmo Bag was an overnight sensation - I cut & sewed for 11 hours straight (and only had to undo the first handle 'cuz I put it on upside down).  So it can and does happen!!   Cheesy

Well I was going to send out this Saturday (thank you 24 hour kiosks) but we're slated to have a HUGE snow storm.  I will be packing up and shipping out tomorrow.  Since I'm sending to someone in the states, I can always have my hubby visit the on-campus post office in case I can't get away from work.

I love snow, don't get me wrong...  but if only it could snow and not stick to the ground!  They're predicting 2 feet of snow this weekend.  Sad
