Me and all my cousins are each crocheting squares
that we're connecting into a huge blanket for our grandma.
My stitches are finally looking better, but I have a question about the pattern...
Starting Chain: chain 24.
Row 1: single crochet in each chain across
Row 2: chain 1 (to turn), single crochet in across the row.
Row 3: chain 1 (to turn), single crochet in across the row.
Row 4: chain 3 (counts as first double crochet), double crochet in each of next 7 single crochet stitches, chain-1, double crochet in next single crochet stitch and repeat 2 more times, double crochet in each of next 8 single crochet stitches.
SO, row 4 is my issue.
I'm guessing that when I chain inbetween the dc's, I would skip one of the single crochet stitches,
so it's sorta hanging mid air and makes a decorative hole?
But even so, wouldn't that be too few stitches to fill up the whole row?
7 dcs (8 if u count the chain 3), chain, dc, chain, dc, chain, dc, 8 dc = 22, and I have 24...
what am I missing!
Thanks so much for any guidance y'all can give me
