Seems I felt inspired to shrug off all my christmas gift making, and all must-do-list items to bring forth my own Sirius Black poppet.

Sirius seems to be my favorite character in all of HP books, and I loved who they had act as him in the movies. So I pretty much based my poppet of of Gary Oldman's interpretation of Sirius.

I dunno if you see any likeness. I did a hodgepodge of all the images I found of him.

and without his coat

Thanks for looking

He is fabulous! You did a wonderful job, SKooKum. I love all the detail in his face (I find it so nerve wracking to take ink to a completed doll).

his shoes are temporary...as they are generic american girl clogs.

And the only ink is a fabric pen. the rest is pastel

awe, I thought you had made them, and that you had crazy leather working skills.  But your poppet making skills are most definitely crazy.  The shading on his face is great, I'd be afraid to do that.
