He's only 5 inches tall when he is sitting so he should be perfect for my 6 month old nephew.
He is adapted from this free pattern.

Very cute!  Just a concerned suggestion, though - the red beads on the tree could pose as a choking hazard - only mentioning it because you noted it was for your six-month old nephew.  He'll love it - it looks very cuddly

Your monkey is so cute and hugable. I made a similar one, but it sparked an obsession and I cannot stop. I've made 6 monkeys so far, different shapes and sizes.
