We're trying to go for a neo-retro theme in the living room.  This piece ties the furniture together with another wall hanging we have.  

The records are held together by gluing a popsicle stick between them using gorilla glue.

I hope you all like it; I'm absolutely in love with it!!

ETA:  They were painted with acrylic paint, then mod podged before taping off the squares because the paint didn't want to stick to the smooth parts of the records.

ooo, I like it! It looks great -I love the design. I also like that you did something different with the records than what you usually see. More Eames than Happy Days. Nice job!

This is definitely something unexpected with records. I'm already calculating how many records I can scrounge up...

I have duct tape and a staple gun. I can fix anything.

I received a box full of old records and have become addicted to painting them...now I think i'm gonna have to give this a try. Thanks!
