The Rubik's Cube Transformed into the Steelers Cube!

I hope this is the right place to post this. I got the idea for this from this crafty crafter here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=144080.0

My dad is a big Steelers fan (as am I) and one of the highlights of my week is after the Steelers game when my dad calls me (he lives in Ohio, I'm in Utah) and we discuss the game. So, I thought I would make something for him that he could set on his side table to remind him of me until our weekly phone call.

With money being really tight this year this worked out perfect. Thanks to my son donating his Rubik's Cube to me, it didn't cost me a thing.

I am really pleased with how this turned out.


I just peeled the stickers off of the cube, measured them, printed out pictures to size, cut into measured squares and decoupaged them on to the cube. Viola!

You should try it...the hardest part was getting the pictures to print out at the right size. I don't have any fancy photo software.  I attached the photos with Modge Podge and then did two protective coats of Modge Podge over the pictures.

Living Dead Girl is my favorite too, but sadly, that name was already taken when I signed up with Craftster...

I am just seeing this now and it is awesome! I am an Eagles fan but the Steelers hold a spot in my heart. I may have to borrow this idea for my 2 friends!(I just took them to last weekend's game) GREAT job!
