Looking forward to it! Never made inchies before, but it looks like a lot of fun!

Haha, I found some old business cards of mine at work-- they had our old address on it, so they're worthless. BA-ZING-- free inchies materials for me!!

So I've started the year off with a bang- organized my entire studio and getting all my paper stashes ready for cutting!  I have the feeling i'll be making WAAAAY more inchies than I need for this swap.  I've seen some great ways to display them, so this may be my first 2011 addiction.....

It has definitely become my new addiction!! I'm totally hooked Smiley.

There is a fancy-dancy paper store near my office and I went there yesterday to scope things out. Yikes! Everything was sooo pricey. They did have a grab bag of cutting scraps that was cheap! It's filled with tiny pieces of really neat stuff - perfect for inchies!

As it turns out , I won't be joining you in this swap.  I will; however, be making my first inchies right along with all of you and stalking your gallery.  Have fun everyone. Kiss

Has anyone tried to explain to someone what an inchie is? Hilarious! I thought that swapping was hard to communicate but inchies makes people look at you like you are crazy and then you see deep thought cross their faces and then more confusion as to why you would make teeny masterpieces!

Never done a swap through this site before. Seems like an easy enough place to start. I'm in!

Welcome to the swap LadyRiot. I like you was a member of crafster for ages before I discovered and decided to participate in swaps. I started with a great recipe swap, you just had to post on favourite recipies to your partners, so an easy one to start with. With your experience with paper crafts and inchies, you should find this one easy too!
Welcome once again.

early partners.....believe me, I have considered it and looked into it, but have been advised against it as may discorage more people from joining and also with so many great swaps going on at the moment I wouldn't want to prevent anyone who is trying to free up a swap space from being able to join, also we have one swapper who can't join until 12th Jan because of her 1 month aniversary.

I have just realised that 1 month crafting time for inchies is probably way to long! Oh well here is hoping for lots of early senders!

I forgot that sign-ups are open til the 16th.  There's a chance I'll get my life together enough to join after all.  I really want to so I intend to try anyway.

I personally am thankful for the extra week before partners...today we started the process of turning the little (and I do mean little, it fits a futon and not much else) second bedroom into not ONLY the guest bedroom, but my crafting room (with a DOOR!) so that little kitty feet don't track my inchies all over the place.

gamemom42, I so hope you decide to join us!  You're such a great swapper, you'll make someone's day with your package, and hopefully they'd make yours!
