I am going to be sending in my questionnaire in today or tomorrow. I am excited about this swap. I love (fanatic) paper crafts and I never dabbled in inchies and have always wanted too. I have a billion ideas for all kinds of themes.

I'm really excited to do a swap! I just moved to Oregon, so I spent the last 2 months not being able to do much crafting Sad.

I sent my questionaire in today.  I'm really excited.  Do inches have to be made from paper?  I made several in my last/first swap from a couple of different materials; polymer clay, shinkie dink, et all.  Does it matter?

I've seen quilted inchies, so I'd guess if it's something your partner would like, it's good Smiley

I think that Inchies can be made in variuos mediums, although the most common is paper. I suppose you should probably discuss this with your partner. They may have some particular display method project in mind that would require a certain medium.

Just sent in my questionnaire- so looking forward to partners! Best thing is my husband can't complain about a swap that fits into a business envelope and costs next to nothing to ship!! Hurray!

Are there really parcel screening fees now? Yikes!

Yea, all parcels from Australia to the USA are now subject to an extra $9 screening fee on top of normal postage.
My average postage for a swap parcel is usually $15 to $17 so add an extra $9 to that and it makes a huge difference.
But yes Inchies should avoid that fee - don't think I will be able to offer extras like chocolate or candy anymore with these small package swaps, it will just make too much difference in postage.
