Aww that -sucks- about the screening fee. What's it for? Do we have to pay the US to search our parcels now?

There goes most of my swapping dreams, I was dreaming of soap swaps etc, but I can't afford to pay R300 a parcel  Embarrassed

I'm going home over Christmas. I'm -hoping- my mom hasn't chucked out my boxes of useless "I may need this someday" stuff, if I recall correctly, there's a whole box of rubber stamps and embossing powders in there. Hope I can fit it all on the plane back!  Cheesy

I'm too excited about this one.  I'm going to have a hard time waiting until sign-ups end.  It's been so long since I've done much papercrafting that I'm totally geeked about this swap.

The stamps and powders sound fun Smiley  I'll have to ask around and see if anyone has some stamps I could borrow, or if I'm lucky I'll find some on sale! (And Michael's always has that bin of stamps for $1 each!)

I've been wanting to start inchie-fying...now's my chance!  I will probably join, but feel I ought to finish up a few other things first  Wink

I'm in the process of making my first inchies for a personal swap Noobina and I are doing Smiley.

First thing I learned... 1" x 1" is so TINY!! I can't believe the detailed art that so many have done on these tiny canvases!!

I know - when you look at them in a close-up photo it sort of loses the impact of the tinyness  Shocked

Ammusingly I hadn't actually considered the tinyness of an inchie until you mentioned it limeRiot! mmmm. Interesting! I agree that the detail that goes into the ones I have seen on here is just amazing.
