Details of swap:
This is a swap for fussy-cut fabric squares to make into an I-spy quilt or any other project that you have in mind - Circle skirt, Teesha Moore style journals / bags etc. OR even is you just love to applique and want some interesting bits of fabric to use. A fussy-cut square is one where you centre the design in the middle of the square so that the maximum of the pattern in within the square. (eg on a character print, you would make sure that the character is in the square, see last rounds galary for some examples). You will swap a minimum 2 square feet of fabric. You should send as many different and unique squares as you can and ideally they should have something identifiable on them to spy! Here are the equivalents for each size of square (there is also the option for half inch cuts too ie 3.5 inches):
For 2” squares you will send 72 squares
For 2.5" squares upi will send 46 squares
For 3” squares you will send 32 squares
For 3.5” squares you will send 24 squares
For 4” squares you will send 18 squares
For 4.5” squares you will send 14 squares
For 5” squares you will send 12 squares
For 5.5” squares you will send 10 squares
For 6” squares you will send 8 squares
If you and your partner want to send more than the required 2 square feet for material, then this is for you to discuss and decide privately, and work out the number of squares required yourself. Likewise if you and your partner want to include any extras, this should be discussed privately. You can choose to swap with one, two or three partners.
