I made this a few months ago for a dear friend's newborn. The backing and white fabric are organic, and I used the organic cotton and bamboo batting, but I wanted to use some fun things too. All told, there are 22 different fabrics- although the pics don't show the different bindings.

I embroidered the baby's name in english and hebrew, her astrological sign, and the latitude and longitude of her birthplace.

So neat!  It could be an "I Spy" blanket when the kid is older.  Where did you get that awesome tooth fabric I see?

The tooth fabric is an Alexander Henry. It's long out of print- I found it on etsy.
