Travel Journal...ready for travelling!

I get really intimidated by plain white pages, so I like to splodge some paint on 'em straight away and try not to think about it too hard. The I usually find it inspires me to carry on working on them. I had to stop myself doing too much in this book since it was for someone else. I really wanted to carry on working in it!

Okay, absolutely FINAL bit of incentive to get a journal ready for next years holidays!  If I start now, the paint might even be dry before I have to pack it 

It's gorgeous.  I wonder if you are ever intimidated by the beauty of the pages about what to write in the book....or maybe the pages themselves add such a positive tone to anything one would write. I love it in any case.

It's weird, but personally, I actually find find nothing more intimidating than blank paper, especially if it's crisp and white.  I truly find it easier to draw on cream even..I'm sure there is some very disturbing and Freudian reasoning behind this

Ooooh - I wish you lived next door to me so you could give me a lesson or two - I just love the look of your travel journals but have no idea of how to set about making one.  (Mine would be more of a stay at home journal anyway - haha!)  Really wonderful and I know she will be beyond delighted!

It's great. You should make books like that and sell them on your Etsy site!  Though you'd probably have to charge more than I would be able to pay.
