Travel Journal...ready for travelling!

When we travelled to Morocco with friends earlier this year they were subjected to me pulling out my journal to work on at every opportunity. When looking through it one day, one of the girls commented that her daughter would love a book like it for her travels. I stashed this snippet of information away and kept an eye out for another suitable book to alter for her. A couple of weeks ago I found one and set to work!

Here it is prepped and ready for her daughter to fill it when she next goes travelling. I'm so excited that she'll be getting this in her stocking and have no idea at all that she's getting it. It was a nice surprise for her parents too

This page was a fluke, and I love it! I was trying to do several pages at once and popped a sheet of card with holes in between the pages of wet paint and shut the page. When I opened it later...dots!


I can't wait to see what she creates in this book

This really is lovely.  The kind of thing I think I would love to have but don't know how to go about making for myself!  Too bad there's not someone like you crafting my Christmas presents...

It's gorgeous.  I wonder if you are ever intimidated by the beauty of the pages about what to write in the book....or maybe the pages themselves add such a positive tone to anything one would write. I love it in any case.

Beautiful! I love how each page is beautiful in its own right, but when they are all taken together it truly is a work of art! I hope that the recipient gets a lot of enjoyment from it!
