Love the catbat and cyclops baby!

My stuffie arrived a while ago, but I had to drive across the country to meet him! He was finally released from his box last night, here he is:

Good thing suereal packed some Canadian snacks, since he was stuck in the box for so long!  He has a working beak, bendy eyestalks, with pleather? patches and claws and a beaver-ish tail!

I think he is great! Thanks suereal!

I'm so happy (read relieved) you like it Grin  The whole idea came from your post of the little felted bowls that you made that I found while stalking you..

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=291955.msg3317552#msg3317552

I made a few for my Mom for Christmas and I used a plastic eyeballs for the form.  When I cut them open, the little Iris inside was peeking out and I thought what a great eyedea (sorry...pun intended).  They reminded me of Garry from SpongeBob, so I decided to start with a banana slug, spliced it with a snapping turtle and tossed in a bit of beaver for Canadian good luck.

Here is the post of the bowls I made my Mom.

So so sorry for posting these late! Sad I'm really glad that you and your husband loved the zombie cat, Rangerbeth! I had a blast making it. It was interesting coming up with ideas and then having to figure out how to make them work. I dug the challenge Smiley And who doesn't love an adorable zombie Smiley

Here is what the lovely Rangerbeth made for me. One of my suggestions was a hybrid animal. So she made me a catbat! (I lovelovelove bats Wink )  Oh also, I love maryjanes, which I don't think I said or showed anywhere....so those were a great bonus hehe

I'm trying to put something together where I can set her so everyone can see <3
