I love everything! I always felt like having a big, expensive, impersonal wedding missed the point anyway. If I ever get married I hope I can be as creative and resourceful as you.

I'm glad you all liked it  Smiley

As for the skirt it's nothing complicated. Theres a simple slip underneath followed by a gathered layer of tulle (lots of tulle). Then the top layer is also gathered. Not complicated just very time consuming ;(

I never, ever would have guessed that all this stuff was made by just a few average people! It looks very professional!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! My wedding (almost 10 years ago) was low-budget too, but nothing as spectacular as this! I especially love your dress! It's light and summery and feminine!

This whole thing is so beautiful! You did such a wonderful job! I wish I was crafty when we first got married (7 years ago). Maybe if we renew our vows later on...

All the details you did makes it seem like it wasn't a frugal wedding at all! Congratulations.

I too had a low budget, family catered wedding.  I wasn't sewing much then, but I wish I had been.  Instead of e-baying my dress I probably would have made it.

You did a great job and may peace be wtih you now it is over!  Peace and a strong marriage.

Wow - there's nothing frugal-looking that I can see.  You did an amazing job on everything.  Seriously, have you ever thought about being a wedding planner?  Right now, frugality would be a great niche.
