As crafters I think a lot of us have a tendency to end up cramming all our crafting in at the last minute.  Either we're so busy we just don't get around to it until it can't wait any longer, or we wait for inspiration to hit and then throw stuff together at the last minute, or we just plan so much that we end up working our butts off the night before we need the finished product.  Wink

In honor of procrastination (intentional or not!) I present to anyone and everyone the 2010 Last-Minute Holiday Project Craftalong!  Any winter holiday-related project (doesn't have to be Christmas!) you're trying to finish up in time to either decorate or give to someone is considered part of the theme so long as you either just started it or it's so big a project that it's going to take extra effort to finish in time (at your own discretion of course Smiley).

Let us know what you're working on and don't forget to post the final project!

I will definitely be working on stuff at the last minute.  I haven't even started Christmas yet, still gotta get through finals, I actually be writing a paper right now... sigh...

Will try to post once I get started.

This is totally the craftalong for me! I've hardly started on things, though I've gotten all my materials together for my "duplicate gifts" (the ones I make many of to give to everyone I see on Xmas day), little pinch potholders. Still need to think of something to make the boy... and my parents.

Count me in too! I've just finished a painting, now I'm on to a scarf thingy, then tomorrow it's jamma pants and zombie shoes. I'm tired already.

I cut out a bunch of stuff that I need to sew to finish gifts but I just cannot bring myself to sit in front of the sewing machine right now. Gift certificates are looking better and better haha

Count me in!  I seem to have just agreed to make someone a scarf for Christmas, despite not being done with the rest of my Christmas gifts.... not to mention the ornaments I wanted to make for myself!   Roll Eyes

I'm in in in!!!

I have a sweater to finish crocheting for my mom for Christmas, which has stalled, a sleeve and a half, and assembly short of completion.

Socks for my mother in law (that are kinda sorta started)

and I was going  to make golf club covers for my  brother in law (but he may just be getting something off of etsy)

and I did start a dress for my daughter for a Christmas gift MONTHS ago, which I have totally quit on and buried in my WIP things to pretend it doesn't exist.

And my hubby probably needs something from me too...though it may have to NOT be crafted...

good luck everyone!

Right behind you.

I'm in! Not only am I a procrastinator, I also tend to take on too much at one time. That makes last-minute crafting inevitable  Wink

I finished up crafting for my family in Vegas this weekend, but that still leaves my husband, kids, in laws, friends... Huh Off the top of my head, I need to get started on and finish:

1. Cross stitch kit for my oldest son (something gaming themed. I'm thinking a WoW Horde insignia)
2. Need to hoop the Hello Kitty embroidery I made for my daughter, and decorate the hoop with handmade felt flowers
3. Cowl for my MIL
4. Embroidered Viking flag for my husband
5. Embroidered dinosaur from badbird for my youngest son
6. Embroidered penguin for my daughter
