I'm still a beginner-spinner, and have yet to brave double-ply.

This is currently drying- the pink is actually darker in person. The pink and green are both BFL from worldofwool, and the multi-coloured one is made of scraps of filz-it felting wool of indetermined origin.

It's being sent to someone on a ravelry swap so I don't get to keep it. The raspberry colour is my favourite.

I love the colours - especially the pink and green together, that's all kinds of awesome!

I'll tell you a tale of the bottomless blue
And it's hey to the starboard, heave ho
Look out, lad, a mermaid be waiting for you
In mysterious fathoms below

I'm not sure about the green- they looked wine red and dark green on the website (just computerised squares of colour). Depends on the light I think.

banaleg I'm in the UK so I don't know about prices where you are but I got my drop spindle for about 8 on ebay, and 100g of BFL wool for 2.50- don't know how much I've spun but a quarter of the bag is the raspberry stuff. I spin it, then dunk in water, wring out and wind it around a mug stand then leave to dry. Et voila!
