The whole idea of this craft along is for those of us who constantly craft for others but, have a list of things we want to make for ourselves and never get to them!
If you are like that then this craft along is for you! Any craft, any medium, Just make yourself something!

I'm hoping by making a craft-a-long it will give us reasons to actually finish our projects, and give each other encouragement and help when we need opinions.

My project for me right now is a lacy and pretty hat and scarf that will go with my bulky orange winter jacket. I am working on this pattern:

For the scarf. Haven't decided on the hat yet.

Dude, I am so up for this. :/ I have a whole bunch of projects on a list for me, but haven't finished anything but a scarf and hat because they were almost necessary because it's so cold here.

I usually only finish projects for other people, and when I make something for me, it tends to get given away more than half the time. :/

Im game for this!  My list of things to make myself is long  because I always skip the things I want and make things for others.  Now I just need to pick which thing I want to make first. Cheesy

Wonderful idea! This just may have to be the craftalong I join this year. I seriously never get anything even done for me or my house, its always for my daughter, swaps, selling, holidays, friends, family, etc
Right now I really want to make a Christmas card holder from my old wine corks like this one:

Other things I've been meaning to get around to:
Crocheted tunic
Hoop wall
mittens
luna scarf

Making it official. . . .the project that's been waiting longest for my attentions is Dreamy Boom Boom!  http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qZmf9l-HC1A/S3MBJfGlb1I/AAAAAAAAD1A/9p36sfg4gwM/s640/DrSnuggles%200420a%205_980.jpg  I purchased a wooden birdhouse rocket ship from Michaels nearly a year ago with the intention of turning it into Dr. Snuggles awesome rocket ship and it still sits on my end table as plain as the day I bought it. *sigh*

I have a tiny cabinet that I've been wanting to paint forever.  I'm going to do it, and I'm not going to give it away!

I am so glad that you started this craftalong. I have been meaning to do it for ages.

today I am starting crafting for me and my daughter...I know it rather compromises the principles of the craftalong, but we need two new dresses and I need a coat to go over the top, for my nieces wedding on new years eve..

so proper, detailed, crafting for me!

Awesome! I am in! I have no idea what I am going to craft for myself first, though.

Okay this is a must to try out too, its a great idea and i seriously got to stop procrastinating on nearly everything... Though not sure what project to start off with... as i tend to get over the addiction of certain craft as soon as im done with it.

I'm in too.... but not until after Christmas..... That list of gifts is just to long.... But I really want to make that dress I've been dreaming up for years(literally for 7 years or more actually.. ever since I moved in with my now hubby) out of this old what was once a bed spread then a wall hanging because it was such a beautiful jacquard.  I even bought complimentary fabric for it this spring, i was determined to make it... Go figure I haven't yet.  But that will be my craftalong  for me project!  Putting that schooling to use!  even if I have nowhere to wear it....
