I am so pleased with this card. We always have a difficult time getting a picture with my step son in the time frame between Thanksgiving and christmas that is suitable for the christmas cards.  I know we could use a photo from any time in the year, but the kids change so much, I like the pictures to be current.  This year, instead of stressing out trying to coordinate visits, outfits, photographers, moods, lighting & locations (WHEW!) I decided to take my step son's photo myself on Thanksgiving (when we always have him) then we got everyone else when we did the regular xmas photos.  Everyone got a letter to hold for an individual picture, then I made them all black & white, cropped & resized them and printed them myself.  While cutting out 50 sets of those little pictures *IS* a job, I am super happy to have a picture that includes my whole family for the card this year - the first time in 4 years!  I thought this might help some other frazzled step parent out there.

What a great idea!  With a kid who is away at university and a husband who often works out of country, I have a really hard time getting everyone together for a holiday photo and this is a perfect solution!  I really like how it looks like the pictures were taken in a photo booth too Smiley

Great idea! We have grown kids starting families of their own, scattered around the province - this will be the perfect solution this year! TFS!!
