You're welcome. I saw a massive packet of needles in a shop and thought "Oh excellent" lol - if I hadn't gotten that one you would've gotten a lot less needles. I had no idea if you've got use for all of them but sent them anyway.

I learned something interesting at my quilt guild meeting tonight.  It's not about needle books but it's about needles.  Feb. 8th is Broken Needle Day in Japan.  It's about taking your hard working needles that are past there use and putting them to rest.  It's a 400 year old festival. It's also about honering the little things in life..like needles Grin

This was my first google search on it and it seems to explain things..

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

I am gonna go dig around in my sewing room trash can, a few needles and pins in there, then buy some tofu or jellyrolls.  I know my little needles hold sorrow and I do appreciate their service. I guess when one is doing some hand sewing and gets pricked they are there to remind us all things can offer comfort or pain.

Love the information suereal, never would have thought about this.
