If she doesn't love this, then I don't know what! This is very nice, great and fabulous! It looks like it took a lot of work and it looks very professional. This is a winner!

You really found that much nice photos of calvin anf hobbes?

I'm floored by the artistry you put into this, and the actual recipes are making me hungry.  And, I can't help noticing they're all vegetarian! Awesome creativity with the "gross" recipes, too!

Thanks everyone!  I definitely spent a lot of time working on this.  Smiley

I'm just wondering if the printer would have a problem with trademarked  images.
That was something I thought of at the beginning, and then forgot about!  I ordered the photobook from Kodak, and they said it shipped, so apparently it's ok.

There are lots of tutorials on digital scrapbooking....but mostly I just love playing with Photoshop.  I took a Computer Art class in college that helped, but there are lots of Photoshop tutorials around, too.

I had such trouble finding pictures online (Bill Waterson hasn't released any C&H images for sale, so there really aren't any available for commercial use).  The non-food pictures were actually computer wallpapers (the Hot Chocolate and Autumn Cookies pages, for example).  The rest, I took out my books and took pictures with my digital camera to get better quality images.  I sell jewelry online, so I have a good deal of experience getting the lighting just right and photographing close up images...which helped a lot.  But I still had to edit the comic strips in Photoshop so they looked better.  Lots of messing with the images' levels, color balance, and skewing the edges.
