Ugly flashback happening. Here I am, backed up against the wall, watching all the other kids and wishing someone would come over and ask me to dance.

It's official!  Dharma_rebel and I are going to dance! whoo!

Averia, I just crafty stalked you, and I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to ask you!  Maybe jump out and ask someone!   (and a side note, thanks for wisting my Murloc hoop!  he's cute isn't he?  Cheesy  perhaps next round we shall dance!)

I've never been in IYP (yet Smiley
but I think in past rounds, they made a list of swappers who
would like to be asked, so that you at least knew you had a good
chance of them saying yes -- maybe would alleviate some of the
anxiety?
Just thinking out loud here.....

Dharma_Rebel is the BEST partner!!

There are a lot of people I want to ask, but crochet seems like such a common craft anymore, and a lot of the people I want to ask crochet as well as 9 billion other things!! This totally feels like sadie hawkins!!

Crochet is SO not a common craft when you are talented at it!!  I envy all you yarnies!

Throwing my hat in the ring for a partner.....add me to the list of too chicken to ask people!  Grin

I haven't done an IYP in over 2 years!  I need a partner!
Here is a link to my flickr with recent stuff on it since all my stuff on here is pretty outdated.

I agree that a list of possible 'prom dates' on the sign up thread would be a great idea. With the new extra postage screening fee to the USA, it would also be hand to know what country they are from. This fee will increase my postage costs to the usa from about 15-20 dollars to that plus $9 for anything over 500g. It might mean not so much stateside swapping  Cry

I'm still not certain if I'm doing this one or not..... I can think of a few people I'd like to ask, but I'm not sure I could make anything they'd like.  Tongue
